I talk about alternative exercises, as a means to avoid mental and muscle boredom. I was remembering one of those different exercises when straightening a drawer, and came across an at-home tape distributed by Beachbody called Yoga Booty Ballet. This series of tape kicks your butt! It seems so benign…It begins with a calming yoga pose with a mantra like: “Today I express strength, creativity, and joy.” Oh, this is great. I feel so peaceful. Then they are posed in this beautiful, serene dessert scene…”Lets just do some ballet poses together…”Oh, this is harder than you would think…then 20 minutes later your thinking…Is this woman a sadist? Then, you wake up the next morning, and realize just how many muscles are in your gluteus maximums. Never underestimate the power of a ballerina!
